Andy’s is located on the beautiful Cabopino beach which is great for young children. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a wide variety available from the children’s menu, including hot dogs, beef burgers and spaghetti bolognaise or smaller portions of the adult meals. A great little venta just outside the town. Whether you want tapas, drinks or a menu del dia for €6 this is a place to visit. It’s not fancy but the food is good and cheap plus they have a play area on the outside terrace for the kids.

Spanish run restaurant in Alora has been open since 1987 and is an ideal venue for birthdays, weddings or events as has a huge 1,500 sq.m dining area. There is also a 14,000 sq.m children’s play area which includes two play areas plus there are ample gardens and free parking. Great location out in the campo.

Berrocal Restaurant is a large traditional Spanish restaurant located 15 minutes from Malaga and located in the countryside with excellent views of the Guadalhorce Valley. The prices are reasonable and they offer a variety of home-made dishes using top quality products. For the children there is a 500sq.m playground with swings, slides, climbing frame and bouncy castle. Open Saturday and Sunday 11.30am till late.

This is a large venta run by Eva and her family located on the road from Coin to Cartama. Although it is on the main road there is a big enclosed terrace and indoor eating area offering children’s meals. There is a play park just outside which although is a little old is safe, shady and keeps the kids amused. Sometimes also has a bouncy castle on the weekends. Excellent food and good value for money. Menu del Dia on a Sunday is just €8.

Los Morenos is very busy and popular restaurant with locals and foreigners alike. All the traditional Spanish dishes are on offer with a great BBQ at the weekends. They have a large outside terrace with small play area and dishes on the menu for children. Open everyday except Thursday from 10am – 11pm (10pm in winter).
