BUTTERFLY PARK, BENALMADENA
Mariposario de Benalmadena is a fairly new park which features more than 1,500 butterflies and 150 different species in their natural habitat which have come from Africa, Australasia and America. Visitors walk around an indoor enclosure which is open daily from 10am – 7pm (summer) and till 6pm (winter) and see butterflies and caterpillars and see first hand how chrysalis are formed and evolve with butterflies emerging before your very eyes. Ideally located on Benalmadena port, Sealife has more than 2,000 marine life creatures and is open daily from 10am – 6pm (winter), 10am – 8pm (summer) and 10am -midnight (July and August). Visit during feeding times and witness a unique experience. There are also packages available for birthday parties, groups or school trips.
