The Marine Centre in Malaga was set up in 1989 to focus on all types of marine life in the Alboran Sea. There are two areas – exhibition area with various marine life on display and a research/workshop area for educational purposes.

An activity company operating out of Malaga which also runs a ferry between Benalmadena and Malaga ports from April through to September. Cost is €15 for adults, €10 for kids up to 10 years and under 4s go free return and €11 and €7 respectively one way. You can book online. The company also runs charter trips and organises various events such as boat parties with more activities opening up in Malaga area soon.
