Apes Den is located right in the middle of the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. There is no ‘entrance’ into it as it’s just an area off the road where all the apes sit on the walls but you do have to purchase an entrance ticket into the Nature Reserve. Since the cable car middle station is located at the Apes Den we recommend you get there via the cable car.

A lovely zoo that does not have cages and the animals are all kept in enclosures where you can look through glass walls or peer over the walls or through viewing points. There is a children’s play area of more than 500 sq.m next to the restaurant. Open every day from 10am until midnight in the summer months, other months vary. Adults €16, children aged 3 to 9 years €11.

A birds of prey show is on offer to visitors at the summit of the Calamorro Mountain, Benalmadena. You can see demonstrations on how the birds of prey live alongside humans and watch the speed and feeding habits of a peregrine falcon or the majestic flight of the eagle. There are more than 60 birds of different species. You have to take the cable car outside Tivoli World to get to the top. Open from 11am with various closing times. Adults €13 and children aged 4 – 7 years €9.80. Price of cable car ticket includes the show.

This park has 200 crocodiles and a mini zoo especially for the children. Plus an African museum, where you will learn lots of interesting facts about crocodiles, a mini cinema, reptile house, children’s playground and restaurants. There are guided tours and live demonstrations everyday at 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm. Open daily from 10am and closes at 5pm in winter and 7pm in summer. The spectacular “Cartujano Equestrian Art” Show has existed for more than 20 years and is owned and run by the Sánchez family. Set in a typical Andalucian country house the evening also includes dinner and Flamenco show. The show is only on Thursdays and starts at 6pm.
