ALAMEDA BOTANICAL GARDENS, GIBRALTAR

The spectacular Alameda Botanic Gardens were first opened to the public in 1816. There is an extensive and beautiful collection of plants and trees. Most of the plants on display are of native origin whilst others have been imported.

There is a small wildlife park located within the actual gardens. Admission is free and they are open from 8am to 9pm or sunset. There is also a play area for the kids.
